Rumor has it Elgato is planning to release a new console.
According to Robert Merkle, who received a demo unit:
you no longer place it on a desk β
you build a desk around it.
As the engineer wrote in his post, at first it's classic:
β basic buttons first
β then optimization
β then optimization of optimization
β then finally a button
"order coffee for the show caller from Starbucks"
And at some point:
one button does everything β
speaker on air, mic open, mix-minus adjusted, lower third out.
And you're no longer running the show.
You're launching the next Mars mission.
This is no longer "within reach."
This is a zone you move through:
lean, step, reach for the corner.
A bit of production, a bit of cardio.
Looks like Elgato might actually release this.
